cj and his two friends left convoy style for taos yesterday evening around 5 pm. they hoped to be to taos by 11 am, counting on stopping for a couple of hours to sleep. they got there pretty close to that time. however, my phone rang at 3 a.m. and i said, 'oh god, no.' thankfully, it was not c.j. but it was another relative - not one of my children - having a crisis of their own. it is hard enough handling something face to face but a totally different ball game when you're in another city. things finally got settled around 5 this evening but, please god or whatever/ whomever is out there, let things turn for the better, calmer way of life. i know i have it SO much better than so many others - i'm just on my last nerve it seems. got to get out of being stuck.
